Pamela Greenway Eaton

Pamela Faye Greenway Eaton, 83, of Gun Club Road, passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2026, surrounded by her family. Born June 30, 1943 in Vance County, she was the daughter of the late Marie May Greenway and Clarence Greenway and was the widow of Mike Sparks and David Ronald Eaton, Sr. She retired from K-Mart where she worked as a customer service representative. Her home was always open and served as a gathering place for family and friends where she enjoyed cooking for all. She most enjoyed spending time with family and friends and her beloved dog, “Jeeves.” Pam was a lifelong member of Poplar Creek Baptist Church where a memorial service will be held Friday, July 31, 2026 at 2:00 P.M. by Rev. Garrett Barneycastle and Darrell Mullinix.

Pam is survived by her son, Michael Sparks and wife, Amy of Oxford; two step-sons, Donald Ronald Eaton, Jr. of Sunset Beach, Michael Joseph Eaton and wife, Cheree of Henderson; two grandchildren, Christopher Sparks and Ashleigh Sparks; and seven step-grandchildren.

We would like to extend heartfelt thanks to Pam’s compassionate caregivers. The kindness, patience and dignity you provided brought comfort not only to Pam, but to our entire family.

The family will receive friends following the service in the fellowship hall of Poplar Creek Baptist Church on Friday and at other times at her home.
