Patricia Coghill Burns

HENDERSON-Patricia Coghill Burns, 82, a resident of 352 N. Lynnbank Road, passed away on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at her home.Born in Vance County on August 5, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Samuel Grey Coghill and Mary Floyd Coghill and was the widow of Rev. Grant Junior Burns.Patricia was a retired first grade teacher. She was a member of Fuller Chapel Christian Church where she served as a deacon, Sunday School teacher and Vacation Bible School teacher.She also was a caregiver to many people.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, June 16, 2019 at 2 pm at Fuller Chapel Christian Church by the Rev. Tammy Ayscue.
She is survived by two sons, Mark Burns and Wayne Burns, both of Henderson; five grandchildren, Christopher Burns, Jennifer Burns, Michael Burns, Adam Burns and Sarah Burns.
The family will receive friends following the service in the Fellowship Hall of Fuller Chapel Christian Church.
