HENDERSON- Mrs. Patricia Ann Jacobs Owens, age 71, a resident of 3625 Warrenton Road, died Monday July 13, 2015 at her home.Born in Granville County on February 27, 1944 she was the daughter of the late Thaddius Thomas Jacobs and Katherine Elizabeth Nance Jacobs.Mrs. Owens was a member of Island Creek Baptist Church and was retired from Food Lion where she worked as the deli manager.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11:00 AM in the chapel of J.M. White Funeral Home by Rev. Marshall Neathery.Burial will follow in the Island Creek Baptist Church cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Lonnie Vincent Owens of the home; a son, Greg Crowder of Oxford; a grandson, Patrick Crowder; two great grandchildren, Hailey Crowder and Tyler Crowder; a step-son, Jeremy Owens of Henderson; five sisters, Carolyn J. Proctor, Evelyn J. Moss and Barbara J. Ramsey all of Oxford, Judy J. Dunn of Greensboro and Linda J. Bean of Iron Station; and a brother, Larry Thomas Jacobs of Henderson.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Nelson Lee Jacobs and a grandson, Brandon Crowder.
The family will receive friends Wednesday night at J.M. White Funeral Home from 7:00 till 8:30PM.At other times they will be at her home on Warrenton Road and at the home of Greg Crowder, 1220 Oxford Loop Road, Oxford, NC.
Serving as active pallbearers will be Patrick Crowder, Tommy Jacobs, Tanner Dean, Tommy Ramsey and Marvin Campbell.
