Patricia "Pat" Anderson Winstead

Patricia “Pat” Anderson Winstead, 84, of Weldon’s Mill Road, died Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at Duke University Hospital. Born August 25, 1939 in Greenville Co. S.C., she was the daughter of the late Ruth Conelia Groover Anderson and Selsus Jackson Anderson. She was retired from the United States Postal Service where she worked as a rural mail carrier. A memorial service will be held Sunday, February 4, 2024 at 3:00 PM at New Bethel Baptist Church officiated by Todd Owens. The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall. The family will receive friends Friday night January 19, 2024 at the home on Weldon's Mill Road from 6:00 until 8:00 pm. Pat is survived by her husband, Adrian Linwood Winstead of the home; three sons, Adrian Randolph Winstead (Angie) of Henderson, John Winstead (Angie) of Henderson, and Mark Winstead (Denise) of Youngsville; a sister, Barbara Winstead of Henderson; three brothers, Butch Anderson of Henderson, Donald Anderson of Winston-Salem, and Johnny Anderson of Raleigh; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
