Patricia "Patsy" Robertson Averett

YOUNGSVILLE- Patricia “Patsy” Robertson Averett, 77, of Falling Leaf Drive, died Sunday, December 11, 2022 at WakeMed. Born April 10, 1945 in Vance County, she was the daughter of the late Horace Woodrow Robertson and Mary Livingston Harris Robertson. Patsy retired from WakeMed where she worked as a NICU nurse. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Patsy is survived by her husband, Clyde Barry Averett of the home; her son, Todd Barry Averett and wife, Tracy of Raleigh; her daughter, Kelley Averett Wilson and husband, Mike of New Bern; three grandchildren, Davis Averett and wife, Hannah, MacKenzie A. Knight and husband, Michael, and Blake Wilson; three great-grandchildren; and her twin sister, Nancy R. Barden. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, David Clifton Robertson; and a sister, Ellen R. Ragsdale.
