HENDERSON- Patrick Alioysius Rodgers, III, 68, of Abbott Road, died Monday, June 30, 2025 at his home. Born January 10, 1957 in Cook County, IL, he was the son of the late Jane Roseman Langley Strang and Patrick Alioysius Rodgers, Jr. He worked as a bartender at T. R.’s Lounge. A Celebration of Life service will be held Thursday July 10, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. at South Henderson Church of God. The family will receive friends prior to the service at the church from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m. Patrick is survived by three sisters, Yvonne West and husband, C.W. of Henderson, Mary Jane Rodgers and Sharon Rodgers, both of Kittrell; a brother, Martin Rodgers of Texas; and his nieces and nephews, Silka Boone, Kevin West, Zackery Baxter, Max Rodgers and Wyatt Rodgers. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-father, Mahlon Strang; a nephew, Kenneth West; a sister, Linda Rainey; and three brothers, Donald Rainey, Dale Rainey and Jay Rainey. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to South Henderson Church of God, 125 J.P. Taylor Road, Henderson, NC 27537.
