HENDERSON- Mrs. Pearl Faulk Nowell, age 87, died Sunday, April 16, 2017 at a local nursing home.Born in Bolivia on May 11, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Rufus Hurley Faulk and Bessie Johnson Faulk.Mrs. Nowell was retired from Bowers and Burrows and a former employee of J.C. Penny and the former A.&P. Grocery Store.She was a member of City Road United Methodist Church where she served as a Sunday School teacher, was a member of the church choir and was active in the Methodist Women.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday at 11:00 A.M. at City Road United Methodist Church by Pastor Edgar Vergara Millan and Jimmy Adams.
Mrs. Nowell is survived by her daughter, Kelly Jo Nowell Roberson and husband Keith of Henderson; five grandchildren, Jordan Elizabeth Roberson, Whitney Katherine Roberson, Jamie Bryant Roberson and wife Emily, Wesley Bryant Clark, and Cam Clark Wade and husband Kyle;four great grandchildren, Kayden Roberson, Zoey Roberson, Carter Williams and Bryton Yarborough; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Bryant Nowell; a daughter, Kim Nowell Clark; three brothers and three sisters.
The family will receive friends prior to the service Tuesday morning from 10:00 A.M. till 11:00 A.M. at City Road United Methodist Church.
