ORANGEBURG, SC-Peggy Grissom Crocker, 90, passed peacefully on Tuesday, October 6, 2020.Born in Vance County, she was the daughter of the late Walter H. and Maude Renn Grissom of Henderson, NC.She was retired from the former Southern National Bank in Henderson after 35 years of distinguished service and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Henderson and attended the First Presbyterian Church in Orangeburg, SC.In retirement, she loved to travel and spend time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her daughter, Retta Guthrie (Jimmy) of Orangeburg, SC; her son, Rusty Crocker (Cindy) of Henderson; her granddaughter, Renn Guthrie of Charlotte; and numerous nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Grissom Knuckles; and brothers, Lawrence Grissom, Sidney Grissom, and Walter Grissom Jr., all of Henderson.
A private graveside funeral service will be held on Monday, October 12, 2020 at Sunset Gardens by the Reverend Cam Ford.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church, 114 Church, Street, Henderson, NC 27536.
