Henderson-Peggy Jean Coghill Partin, age 77, a resident of Kerr Lake Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, and a former resident of Courtyard Apartments, died Thursday January 30, 2014.Born in Vance County on September 3, 1936 she was the daughter of the late Wayne B. Coghill and Fannie Mae Winfree Coghill.She was a retired LPN and worked at Maria Parham Hospital for sixteen years.Mrs. Partin was a member of South Henderson Church of God and attended Freedom Life Church of God.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2pm in the chapel of J. M. White Funeral Home conducted by Rev. Jeff Prewer and Rev. Wilbert HortonBurial will follow at Sunset Gardens.
Mrs. Partin is survived by three daughters, Tammy Parrish, Jamee Renn, and Joanie Inscoe of Henderson; seven grandchildren, Ashley L. Miller, Kelly N. Parrish, Dylan B. Renn, Kaitlyn A. Parrish, Crystal P. Church, April Partin, Randa Adcock; five great grandchildren; and four step-children.
She was preceded in death by a son, Terry Partin; a sister, Dorothy C. Atkinson; a brother, Marshall Atkinson; James L. Partin and Charles L. Dickerson.
Serving as active pall bearers will be Greg Miller, Matthew Reavis, Keith Horton, Cameron Tingen, Derick Pendergrass and Jeffrey Jarvis.
The family will receive friends prior to the service on Sunday from 1 to 2 pm at J.M. White Funeral Home.At other times they will be at the home of Jamee and Jeff Renn, 1326 Club Pond Road.
