Peggy Marks Roberson

HENDERSON- Peggy Jean Marks Roberson, 84, of Edwards Road, died Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at her home. Born October 10, 1938 in Vance County, she was the daughter of the late Berta Cooley Marks and Jessie Marks and was the widow of Ollie Vance Roberson. She retired from Continental Hosiery and was a member of South Henderson Church of God. A memorial service will be held Sunday, February 26, 2023 at 3:00 PM in the chapel of J.M. White Funeral Home by Mr. Harvey Harris. Peggy is survived by her daughter, Tonya Taylor and her son, Scott Roberson (Kristie), both of Henderson; eight grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Willie B. Marks, Maxi Marks, Melvin Marks, and Junior Marks; a sister, Marie Polston; and her son-in-law Terry Taylor. The family will receive friends Sunday prior to the service from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM at J.M. White Funeral Home.
