Philip Howard Rittmueller

RALEIGH- Philip Howard Rittmueller, 83, of Spruce Tree Way, died Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at Terra Bella North Ridge. Born March 28, 1942 in Melrose Park, IL, he was the son of the late Alma Olga “Pattie” Voigt Rittmueller and Adolph Rittmueller. He was an innovative engineer, having a profound impact on both the home electronic and vehicle electronic industries. He retired from Elesys where he was Vice President. Philip was a member of Hope Lutheran Church.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 6, 2025 at 10:30 A.M. at Hope Lutheran Church.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Lussow Rittmueller of the home; his daughter, Elissa R. Miller and husband, Robert; two sons, Jeffery Allen Rittmueller and partner, Colleen Snow and Stphen Philip Rittmueller and wife, Alice; and two grandchildren, Bryce Miller and Brooke Miller.
