Phillip Dexter Collier, 62, a resident of 3359 N. Lynnbank Road, died Sunday, October 11, 2015, at Maria Parham Medical Center after a brief illness.Born in Vance County on December 20, 1952, he was the son of the late Fred Lee Collier and Alice Pendergrass Collier. He was a Supervisor with Waste Industries.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 pm in the J. M. White Funeral Home.
Chapel by the Rev. David Barnett.Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Pulley Collier of the home; one daughter, Bonnie Lyndale Collier (Johnny) of Henderson; one son, Tony Collier (Kristi) of Henderson; two brothers, Fred R. Collier, Sr. (Mary) of Henderson and Rev. Robert H. Collier (Barbara) of Creedmoor; and one granddaughter, Ashlyn K. Collier.
The family will receive friends Tuesday night from 7 until 8:30 pm at J. M. White Funeral Home.At other times they will be at the home at 3359 N. Lynnbank Road.
