Rachel Moss Garrett

Rachel Moss Garrett, 85, of 1686 Egypt Mountain Road, died Sunday, January 24, 2016, at her home. Born on January 24, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Robert Thomas Moss, Sr. and Penola Clopton Moss, and was the widow of Walter E. Garrett Sr.
Rachel was a homemaker, farmer, and member of Raleigh Road Baptist Church.
She is survived by three sons and their spouses, Mr. and Mrs. Walter E. Garrett, Jr., Mr. and Mrs. Jeffery R. Garrett, and Mr. and Mrs. Marty Garrett of Kittrell; one sister, Joanne Loy of Gibsonville; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, Robert Nolon Garrett; four brothers and five sisters.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, January 28th at 2pm at South Henderson Pentecostal Holiness Church by the Rev. Frank Sossamon.Family will receive visitors prior to service from 1 until 2 pm.
