Ralph William Gerber

Ralph William Bill Gerber, age 61, a resident of 124 N. Clark Street, died Friday, December 10, 2010, at Maria Parham Medical Center.Born in Vance County on October 20, 1949, he was the son of Anna Mae Bruin Gerber of Henderson and the late George D. Gerber.Bill proudly served our country in the United States Air Force serving in Vietnam.He was a retired business man, and was President of Gerber Photography and Creative Color Lab. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church where he served as Deacon and Elder.
A memorial service will be held Sunday at 3:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church by the Rev. Keith Benze.A private burial with Military Honors will be held later at Elmwood Cemetery.
In addition to his mother, Bill is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Kathy Stephenson Gerber of the home; two daughters, Katie Gerber of the home, and Tracie Gerber Jones and husband, Robert, of Henderson; three grandchildren, Christian, Will, and Addison; and one brother, Dan Gerber of Macon.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the Church Parlor of the First Presbyterian Church. At other times they will be at the home at 124 N. Clark Street.
