HENDERSON-Douglas Randall "Randy" Rose, age 67, a resident of 169 Furman Lane, passed away on Friday, January 26, 2018, in a local nursing home.Born on March 5, 1950 in Vance County he was the son of the late Douglas F. Rose and Ruby Champion Rose.
Randy was a retired Fire Fighter/EMT from the Vance County Fire Department, and was the owner and operator of Randys Flea Market and Furniture Outlet.He was a member of Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church and attended New Life Baptist Church.
A memorial service will be held Sunday at 2 pm at New Life Baptist Church by the Rev. Joel Beckham.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years, Patricia Watkins Rose of the home.
The family will receive friends following the service on Sunday at New Life Baptist Church.
At other times they will be at the home at 169 Furman Lane, off Vicksboro Road.
Serving as honorary pall bearers will be Vance County Fire Department and Henderson Fire Department.
