Ranita was retired from the Vance County Department of Social Services where she was an Adult Medicaid Case Worker.She attended Victory Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 9, 2019 at 3 pm at Victory Baptist Church by the Rev. Ricky Easter.Burial will follow in Sunset Gardens.
She is survived by her significant other, James Thomas "J.T." Roberson of the home; three daughters, Susan Faulkner Adcock (Johnny) of Henderson, Bettie Faulkner Wiggins (Thomas) of Butner, and Angel Roberson (Jeremy) of Henderson; one son, Joey Nance (Kelly) of Henderson; her caregiver and close friend, Melissa Hughes of Henderson; two sisters, Teresa Dennis of Ayden, and Sylvia Simpson of Virginia Beach, VA; four brothers, Dalton Hutchinson of Williamston, James "Bud" Hutchinson of Ahoskie, Kenneth Hutchinson of Williamston, and Dale Hutchinson of Ayden; her grandchildren, John Ball, Amelia Ball, Clay Faulkner, Zakerie King, Adrianna Goode, Jalesia Steed; and one great granddaughter, Paisleigh Ball.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Dawn Roberson King; and four sisters, Verlon "Sis" Hollis, Corrine Dean, Priscilla Pilgreen, and Connie Henson.
The family will receive friends Wednesday night from 7 until 8:30 PM at J. M. White Funeral Home.At other times they will be at the home.
Serving as active pall bearers will be Johnny Patterson, Jeremy Paul, Joey Nance, Genie Roberson, John Ball, Zakerie King, Clay Faulkner, and Thomas Wiggins.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, PO Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN38101-9908.
