HENDERSON-Raymond Walter Davis, age 74, a resident of 7106 Hwy. 39 South, died Monday, January 28, 2013, at his home.Born in Creek County, Oklahoma on December 18, 1938, he was the son of the late Walter Lee Davis and Maude Howell Davis.Mr. Davis was a Veteran of the United States Army.He was a retired self-employed well driller in Cambridge, MD and also worked for Norland Co., a heating and air condition company in Raleigh.
A private burial will be held by the family.
He is survived by his wife, Gloria Poser Davis of the home; one daughter, Denise Elizabeth Davis Wright of Cambridge, MD; two brothers and two sisters of California; two granddaughters; and one great grandson.
