HENDERSON- Raymond Earl Dickerson, Sr., 68, of Edwards Road, died August 11, 2020 at his home.Born in Vance County on August 10, 1952, he was the son of the late Raymond Dock Dickerson and Vallie Harper Dickerson.Earl was the owner and operator of Satterwhite 66 Tire and Automotive.
A "drive-in" memorial service will be held Saturday, August 15, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Satterwhite 66, (183 North Oliver Drive, Henderson, NC 27537), by Dr. Randy Mann.Attendees are asked to remain in their vehicle at the service.
Earl is survived by his wife, Deborah Overton Dickerson of the home; a son, Raymond Earl "J.R." Dickerson, Jr. and wife Kerstyn of Henderson; a step-son, Johnny Abbott and fiance Tanja of Henderson; a granddaughter, Mackenzie Ray; two sisters, Betty Jackson and husband Tommy and Sandra Hargreaves, both of Henderson; and two brothers, Donnie Dickerson and wife Yvette and Joe Dickerson and wife Lucrecia, all of Henderson.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Gary Dickerson.
