Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:00 PM at Calvary Baptist Church by Dr. Gene Wood and the Rev. Paul Weaklend.Burial with military honors will follow in Sunset Gardens.
She is survived by her husband, Eugene Leonard Daniels, whom she married on June 4, 1961, of the home; three daughters, Eugenia Maddox of Henderson; Cindy Weaklend
(Paul)of Asheboro, and Kimberly Gupton of Henderson; her grandchildren, Amanda Lewis, Bradley Maddox, Jonathan Maddox, Melody Weaklend, Heather Weaklend, Michael Weaklend (Brittany), Jacob Weaklend, Emily Gupton, Gregory Gupton, and Madison Gupton; her great grandchildren, Liliana Lewis, and Issac Weaklend; one brother, Gregory "Bud" Bissett, Jr.of Greensboro; and numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved and maintained a servants heart for all she came in contact with.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by six siblings.
The family will receive friends prior to the service on Wednesday from 12:30 until 1:45 pm at Calvary Baptist Church.At other times they will be at her home at 58 Ridge Circle Road.
Serving as active pall bearers will be Paul Weaklend, Michael Weaklend, Jacob Weaklend, Gregory Gupton, Bradley Maddox, Jonathan Maddox and Neal Harris.
The family is requesting the use of Torreys Flowers, 114 Broad Street, Oxford, NC 27565.In lieu of flowers, cash contributions may be made to the family for traveling expenses, c/o Cindy Weaklend, 3274 US Hwy. 64 West, Asheboro, NC27205.
