Rebecca King Faulkner

HENDERSON- Rebecca Ersel King Faulkner, 80, of Hwy 39 North, died Sunday, December 25, 2022 at her home. Born in Granville County on November 19, 1942, she was the daughter of the late David Winston King, Sr. and Sallie Jane Overton King and was the widow of Bobby Allen Faulkner. Rebecca was retired from Roses where she worked for over 48 years. She was also a member of Flat Rock United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 29, 2022 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of J.M. White Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Sunset Gardens. She is survived by two daughters, Tazzie Faulkner of Henderson and Barbara Tant of Louisburg; a son, Allen Faulkner of Henderson; ten grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and her sister, Mae Wester (Nelson) of Oxford. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, David Winston King, Jr. and Willis Eugene King. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Thursday from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at J.M. White Funeral Home and at other times at the home, 8658 Hwy 39 N., Henderson, NC 27537. Serving as pallbearers will be Rodney Tant, Chad Tant, Dylan Satterwhite, Nicholas Tant, Brittany Faulkner and Kyle Dickerson.
