HENDERSON-Rex Leonard Rudd, age 63, a resident of 2727 US 158 By-Pass, died Thursday, March 31, 2016, at his home.Born in Wake County on February 26, 1953, he was the son of the late Leonard Rudd and Hallie Thompson Rudd.
Mr. Rudd was an employee of Nortel. He attended Harriet Baptist Church where a
memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 3rd at 3:00 PM conducted by Pastor Will Breedlove.
He is survived by his wife, Charlene Nelson Rudd of the home; two sons, Jeffery Rudd (Amy) of Raleigh and Jeremy Rudd of the home; two daughters, Evelyn Yvonne Riggan (Michael) of Henderson and Dana Elizabeth Stamps (Cliff) of Roxboro, three sisters, Bonnie Woodlief of Raleigh, Wanda Walker of Youngsville, and Kay Peace of Franklinton; two brothers, Ronnie Rudd of Raleigh and Ricky Rudd of Youngsville; twelve grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends in the fellowship hall of Harriett Baptist Church prior to the service on Sunday from 2:00 till 3:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Rudd Funeral Fund C/O Harriett Baptist Church, Pastor Will Breedlove, 935 South Carolina Ave, Henderson, NC 27536.
