HENDERSON- Richard Lee Dixon, age 81, a resident of Henderson, died Thursday, June 11, 2015 at Maria Parham Hospital.Born in Durham on June 3, 1934 he was the son of the late Russell Dixon and Iris Colclough Dixon.He served in the United States Coast Guard and was the retired owner of Dixon Alignment Service in Durham and Henderson.
The family will receive friends Sunday at 2pm at his sons residence, 1993 McGhees Mill Road, Roxboro, NC 27574.
He is survived by his son, Darren Dixon of Roxboro; his grand daughter Danielle Dixon; and three sisters, Virginia Maynard and husband Donald, Patricia Hinshaw and husband Tommy and Faye Morgan and husband Rusty.
