Ricky Wilson Howard, age 57, a resident of Carey Chapel Road, died Friday at Duke Medical Center. He was the son of the late Pearline and Ray Howard. Ricky was a veteran of the United States Army, a former employee of the Vance County Fire and EMS, and was a auxillary firefighter with the Cokesbury Volunteer Fire Department.
Visitation will be Wednesdaybeginning at 7pm at the Cokesbury Volunteer Fire Department, 1516 S. Cokesbury Rd.
He is survived by one son, Ricky Howard Jr. of the home; two brothers, Danny Howard (Penny) of Louisburg and Warren Howard of Epsom; three sisters, Shelia Faulkner
(Thurston) of Wake Forest, Norma Howard of Jefferson SC, and Debbie Currin (Mark) of Durham.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be to the Ricky Howard Funeral Fund, c/o J. M. White Funeral Home, 60 Zeb Robinson Rd, Henderson NC 27536.
