HENDERSON-Robert Lee Anderson, Sr., 82, a resident of 136 Henry Street, died Friday, June 9, 2017, at Maria Parham Health.Born on August 16, 1934 in Wilkes County, he was the son of the late John Thomas Anderson, Sr. and Leah Lovette Anderson.
Mr. Anderson was a Veteran of the United States Navy serving during the Korean War and was the owner and operator of Anderson Bargin House.
To honor his wishes, no services are planed.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Vaughan Lou Anderson of the home; one daughter, Terry Norwood (Tommy) ; one son, Robert Lee Anderson, Jr. (Lucie); and one grandson, Anthony Lee Anderson all of Henderson.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, John Thomas J. T. Anderson, Jr. and one grandson, Robert Lee Anderson, III.
The family will be at the home at 136 Henry Street through Tuesday.
