Robert Dale Anstead, Sr., age 54, a resident of Warren Hills Nursing Home, died Sunday, April 3, 2011.Born on July 7, 1956 in Vance County, he was the son of the late Steany Robert Anstead and Magdaline Edwards Anstead.Mr. Anstead was a retired self-employed mechanic.
A private memorial service is planned by the family at a later date.
He is survived by one son, Robert Dale Edmonds of Henderson; and two brothers, Billy Anstead and Tommy Anstead both of Henderson; and three grandchildren.He was preceded in death by one brother, Johnny Anstead.
Arrangements are by J. M. White Funeral Home.
