Robert Lee Critcher, Sr.

FREDERICKSBURG, VA- Robert Lee Critcher, Sr., 83, of Fredericksburg, VA, died Thursday, October 17, 2024 at his home. Born June 20, 1941 in Oxford, he was the son of the late Lizzie Fuller Critcher and Edgar Critcher and was the widower of Carolyn Williams Critcher. He retired from the United States Army and from the trucking industry after more than 50 years of employment. Graveside funeral services with full military honors will be held Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at Sunset Gardens by Rev. Anthony Oakley. Robert is survived by two sons, Bobby Critcher (Alice) of Fredericksburg, Virginia and A.J. Medlin (Donna) of White Lake; his daughter, Regina Ford (Richard) of Paris, Texas; nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Lynn Castillo, a son, Randy Medlin, a grandchild, two brothers and two sisters. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a local VFW Chapter.
