Robert Theodore Harris, Sr., age 65, a resident of 5326 NC Hwy 39 S., died Thursday, January 27, 2011, at his home. Born on November 19, 1945 in Vance County, he was the son of the late George Turner Harris and Arlene Satterwhite Harris.He was formerly employed with Parkway Mobile Homes.
A memorial service will be held Monday, January 31, 2011, at 7:30 PM at J. M. White Funeral Home by the Rev. Jeff Prewer.
He is survived by his wife, Amanda Ellington Harris of the home; one daughter, Tina H. Williamson of Henderson; one son, Robert Theodore Harris, Jr. of Henderson; one brother, Tony Harris of Henderson; four sisters, Marie H. Adcock, Judy H. Pendergrass, Juanita H. Patton, and Debbie H. Milton all of Henderson; three grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; one great granddaughter; and two step great-grandsons.He was preceded in death by one sister, Rose Gail Harris; and three brothers, Fred Harris, Gene Harris, and George Edward Harris.
The family will receive friends Monday night from 6:00 until 7:30 pm at J. M. White Funeral Home.At other times they will be at the home at 5326 NC Hwy. 39 South.
