NORLINA-Robert Thomas "Goat" Moss, 66, a resident of 2485 MLK, Jr. Blvd., died Friday, September 7, 2018, at Maria Parham Health.Born on September 12, 1951 in Granville County, he was the son of Margaret Lane Guill of the home and the late Robert Talton Moss.He was a member of Gospel Independent Baptist Church where he served as head usher until his health declined.
Graveside services will be held Monday at 11 am in the Gospel Independent Baptist Church Cemetery by Pastor Rev. Robert Greene.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by three brothers, Michael Wayne Moss (Peggy),
Tal Henry Moss, and Joel Moss (Barbara) all of Henderson; one sister, Brenda Ann M.
McGhee of the home; many nieces and nephews; and his faithful four-legged companion, Jake.In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one brother, Nathan Earl Moss.
The family will receive friends following the service at Gospel Independent Baptist Church Cemetery.At other times they will be at his home at 2485 MLK, Jr. Blvd.
