Robert Charles Schneider

HENDERSON – Robert Charles Schneider, 74, of Waterstone Lane, died June 27, 2024 at Duke University Hospital. Born on March 14, 1950 in New Castle Co., DE, he was the son of the late Ruth Florence Flynn Schneider and Charles Joseph Schneider. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy. He retired from A-Del Construction Co., where he worked as a foreman with the concrete crew. He enjoyed golfing, fishing and spending time with his granddaughters; as well as taking his grand-dog, “Thor” for rides. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM in the chapel of J. M. White Funeral Home by Father Edward Tembo. Burial will follow at Sunset Gardens. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Hendrickson Schneider; two sons, Jeremy and wife, Nancy of Henderson and Jeff and wife, Alice of Madison, MS; five adorable granddaughters, Hayden Schneider, Charlie Schneider, Elle Schneider, Etta Schneider, and Emmy Schneider and two sisters, Mary Borecki of Middletown, DE and husband Tom and Susan Schneider of Elkton, MD; his brother, Joseph Schneider of New Castle, DE and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded by a sister-in-law, Susan Schneider. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM at J. M. White Funeral Home on Wednesday morning.
