Robin Richardson Brooks

Robin Jane Richardson Brooks, 60, of Anderson Creek Road, died Tuesday, November 5, 2024 at her home. Born October 5, 1964 in Vance County, she was the daughter of the late Mary Weary Richardson and Robert Thomas Richardson. She was a teacher’s assistant at E. O. Young Elementary School and a member of Flat Rock United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir. A funeral service will be held Saturday, November 9, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at Flat Rock United Methodist Church by Rev. Joshua Eom. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Robin is survived by her husband, Gilbert Guy Brooks of the home; her daughter, Elizabeth Brooks and her son, Gil Brooks and wife Irina Brooks, all of Charlotte, and her stepfamily, the Hayes, Jon, Lizzy, Robert, Laura, Cathi, and Dot. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 until 7:30 at J.M. White Funeral Home. Serving as pallbearers will be Jon Hayes, Brad Carver, Geoff Brooks, Stevie Morris, Joel Creech, and Bryan Beck.
