Robin Lynn Hobgood Ross

SOUTH HILL, VA- Robin Lynn Hobgood Ross, 61, of Goodes Ferry Road, died Thursday, January 13, 2022 at V.C.U. Memorial Hospital. Born August 25, 1960 in Vance County, she was the daughter of the late Harvey Nelson Hobgood and Estelle Clayton Hobgood. She was a homemaker Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at 2:00 PM by Rev. Jeff Prewer in the chapel of J.M. White Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Fuller Chapel Christian Church cemetery. Robin is survived by her husband, Marcus Ray “Marc” Ross of the home; four daughters, Kristy Evans Lockemy of Louisburg, Stephanie Kris Ross of South Hill, VA, Shelly Lynn Ross of Dundas, VA and Sherry Lynnette Ross of South Hill, VA; a son, Kevin Dickerson of Topping, VA; six grandchildren, Kaylee Emory, Kynli Scott, Karly Coulter, Kristjan Scott, Taylor Lockemy and Cameron Lockemy; and two sisters, Peggy Edwards and Libby Roberts, both of Henderson. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:30 P.M. until 1:50 P.M. at J.M. White Funeral Home. Serving as pallbearers will be Kevin Dickerson, Ken Scott, Jason Coulter, Donald Roberts, Brian Handoe and Wade Edwards.
