OXFORD-Rodger Dale King, 60, a resident of 4666 Barnview Drive, died Monday, May 28, 2018 from injuries received in a motorcycle accident.Born in Louisville, Kentucky on December 22, 1957, he was the son of the late Milton Hartwell King, Sr. and Doris Sturgill King.He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force, serving in Vietnam.Rodger was a member of Better Roads Biker Church in Oxford.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 pm in the J. M. White Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Eddie Mauldin.Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Donna King of the home; three daughters, Shawna Watson of Fruita,
Colorado, Cassie Thacker of Huntingtown, Maryland, and Jessie King of Fairfax, Virginia; one son, Chad Butler of Ohio; one brother, Milton H. King, II of Henderson;four grandchildren; and his faithful companion, Buster.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Patricia King; and one brother, Michael King.
The family will receive friends prior to the service on Friday from 12:30 until 2 pm at J. M. White Funeral Home.
