Rodney Wayne Kerley

HENDERSON- Rodney Wayne Kerley, 56, of Warrenton Road, died Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at his home. Born June 27, 1965 in Vance County, he was the son of Ralph Kerley and Patricia Clark Kerley of Kittrell. He was a distributor for Little Debbie Snacks and was a member of Union Chapel United Methodist Church. A graveside memorial service will be held Monday, December 6, 2021 at Union Chapel United Methodist Church by Rev. Jonathon Owens at 2pm. In addition to his parents, Rodney is survived by his brother, Scott Kerley of Kittrell. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Leonard Ralph Kerley, Sr. and Ladie Kerley Daniel and his maternal grandparents, Lawrence Clark and Margaret Clark. The family will receive friends following the service on Monday at Union Chapel and at other times at the home of his parents, 345 Egypt Mountain Road, Kittrell, NC 27544. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Union Chapel UMC, c/o Mildred Ross, 908 Avis Lane, Henderson, NC 27536.
