Rollen W Cobb Iii

OXFORD-Rollen W Cobb, III, 61, a resident of Little Mountain Creek Road, died Thursday, March 3, 2022 at his home. Born in Newark, New Jersey on June 16, 1960, he was the son of Rollen W. Cobb, Jr. and Nancy Cobb of Cape Coral, Florida. He was a member of the J. Dewey Hawkins Lodge No: 331 F & AM in Oakland Park, Florida. He enjoyed playing music and played bass in a variety of different bands. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, March 19th, at 2:00 pm in the J. M. White Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Henry Abbott. In addition to his parents, he is survived by two daughters, Kari Cobb and husband, Pookie West, and Kellie Sost of Oxford; one son, Bryan Kennedy of Raleigh; four grandsons, Jeremy Smith, Drew Johnson, Jordan Johnson, and Chase Johnson; two great grandchildren, August Smith and Eliana Smith; four sisters; and four brothers. He was preceded in death by one son, Kevin Kennedy. The family will receive friends prior to the service on March 19th from 1:00 until 2:00 pm at J. M. White Funeral Home.
