HENDERSON- Ronald Blaine Kinsley, Sr., 91, of Poplar Creek Road, died Friday, January 9, 2026 at his home. Born September 23, 1934 in Bradford County, PA, he was the son of the late Gladys Carr Kinsley and George Franklin Kinsley and was the widower of Mary Anne Harris Kinsley. He retired from the Vance County School System where he was employed as the principal of Dabney Elementary School. He served two terms on the Vance County Public School’s Board of Education. Ronald was a member of Nutbush Presbyterian Church where he served as a deacon.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 15, 2026 at 12:00 P.M. at Nutbush Presbyterian Church by Rev. Laura Kelly. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Ronald is survived by his daughter, Kimberley Kinsley Meza and husband, Serafin of Henderson; two sons, Ronald Blaine Kinsley, Jr. and wife, Sharon of Greenville and Bryan Taylor Kinsley and wife, Cindy of Lexington, SC; seven grandchildren, Ronald Blaine Kinsley, III and wife, Emily, Sarah Howell Kinsley and husband, Kyle, Christian Harris Kinsley and wife, Samantha, Zachary Taylor Kinsley, Jesse Andres Meza, Josie Kinsley Meza and Jeobani Michael Meza; two great-grandchildren, Hartley Kinsley and Eli Kinsley; his brother, Gary Kinsley of PA; two nieces, Shawn Henderson and Kyle Hall and two special nephews, Doug Kinsley and Lindsey Bennett.
In addition to his parents and his wife he was preceded in death by a grandson, Kirby Alexander Kinsley.
The family will receive friends prior to the service in the fellowship hall of Nutbush Presbyterian Church beginning at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday.
