HENDERSON- Mr. Ronnie Allen Brendle, age 72, a resident of 9865 Hicksboro Rd. died Thursday, March 19, 2015 at his home.Born in Gaston County on February 14, 1943, he was the son of the late Willard Brendle and Ila Moten Brendle.He was retired from Americal where he worked as a supervisor.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 3:00 pm at New Sandy Creek Baptist Church by the Rev. Tim Burgess.Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mr. Brendle is survived by his wife, Connie Burnette Brendle of the home; a daughter, Chalese Jones of Hickory; a son, Jon Brendle and wife, Paula of Hickory; two step-daughters, Tina Edwards and husband, Buck, and Tracey Edmonds and husband, William, all of Henderson; and three grandsons, Jackson Edwards, Silas Canipe and Elizah Canipe. He was preceded in death by a sister, Lee Ramsey.
The family will receive friends prior to the service on Saturday from 2 pm until 3 pm in the Fellowship Hall of New Sandy Creek Baptist Church.At other times they will be at the home of William and Tracey Edmonds at 1070 Anderson Creek Road.
Serving as active pall bearers will be William Burnette, Jackie Burnette, Zach Burnette, Rodney Bynum, Jeff Ramsey and Matthew Todd.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the New Sandy Creek Baptist Church Building Fund, 1699 Weldons Mill Road, Henderson, NC 27537.
