HENDERSON- Mrs. Rosa Lee Miller Ellington, age 75, a resident of 2001 Stewart Farm Road, Henderson died Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at her home.Born on June 3, 1942 she was the daughter of the late Nathaniel Thomas Miller and Catherine Steed Miller.Mrs. Ellington was a member of Carey Baptist Church where funeral services will be held Saturday, August 5, 2017 at 11:00 AM by Rev. Frank Sossamon.Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Clifton H. Binky Ellington of the home; three sons, Jack Boyd of New York, NY, Sammy Perry of Henderson and Joey Youngblood of Spruce Pine; four daughters, Tammy Hughes of Oxford, Amanda Norwood, Pam Moss, and Cindy Hamm of Henderson; her sister, Dorothy Paynter of Newport News, VA; her brother, Roy Miller of Indianapolis, IN; fourteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Lisa Boyd Bolton.
The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 PM till 8:00 PM at J.M. White Funeral Home.
Serving as pallbearers will be Ashley Boyd, Jason Boyd, Steven McCann, Chris Medlin, Brian Medlin and Glen Moss, IV.
