Roxanne Moore Parks, 66, a resident of Gillburg Road, died Thursday, January 27, 2022, at Duke Medical Center. Born on July 26, 1955 in Granville County, she was the daughter of the late James Clarence Moore and Lula Bell Day Moore, and was the widow of Reynold Gill Parks. Roxanne was a retired office manager at Carolina Cooling and Heating. Graveside funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2:00 pm at Sunset Gardens by the Rev. Johnny Yount. She is survived by one daughter. Jeannie Yount (Bryan) of Henderson; one son, Brandon Parks (Bobbi) of Henderson; one step-son, Reggie Parks (Kristie) of Henderson; four grandchildren, Jessica Parks, Jake Parks, Jackson Parks, and Waylon Parks; one great grandson, Gavin Stone; one brother, James Thomas Moore (Joann) of Lenoir; one sister, Diane Jones (Bill) of Fayetteville; one niece; and five nephews. The family will receive friends following the service at Sunset Gardens.
