Roy Zedekiah Bush

HENDERSON- Roy Zedekiah Bush, age 82, a resident of 1716 Lynne Avenue died Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Maria Parham Health. Born in Leesville, South Carolina, on August 21, 1935, he was the son of the late James Felder and Sarah Watkins Bush.
Mr. Bush moved to Henderson in 1960. He was a retired truck driver, a profession he began in his late teens. He owned and operated his truck for many years. In his retirement, he transported cars for Boyd Automotive until his health prevented him to continue. He was an avid Jeopardy fan and a voracious reader.
A memorial service will be held Thursday at 2 PM in the J.M. White Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Richard C. Brand, Jr.
He is survived by his wife, Lillie Preddy Bush of the home; a son, Roy Z. Bush, Jr. of the home;one daughter, Scarlett Bush Daeke and husband, Garry; and twin grandsons, Adam and Aaron Daeke; a brother, James Robert "Bobby" Bush; a sister, Norma Medlin all of Henderson.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Evelyn Tuck and Karon Bush.
The family will receive friends following the service on Thursday at J. M. White Funeral Home. At other times they will be at the home on Lynne Avenue.
