Ruby Lee Forrest Trammell

HENDERSON-Ruby Lee Forrest Trammell, age 73, a resident of 235 Vincent-Hoyle Road, died Monday, June 16, 2014 at Maria Parham Medical Center.Born on November 1, 1940 in Trion, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Patton C. Forrest and Mattie Bell Rickett Forrest, and was the widow of J. W. Trammell.
Mrs. Trammell was of the Baptist faith.
Graveside services will be held Thursday at 11 am at Sunset Gardens by the Reverend Tim Burgess.
She is survived by two sons, Gary Trammell of Henderson and Jay Trammell of Fort Worth, Texas; two daughters, Deborah Trammell and Joy T. Vaughan both of Henderson; one brother, Clifford Forrest of Chattanooga, Tennessee; three sisters, Nana Pope and Carolyn Singley both of Henderson and Patsy Jarrett of Summerville, Georgia; fourteen grandchildren; and twenty-six great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, James Forrest; and one sister, Virginia Shadrick.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service at Sunset Gardens.At other times they will be at the home of Shannon Grimaldi at 235 Vincent-Hoyle Road.
