Ruby Williamson Switzer

Louisburg, NC-- Ruby Virginia Williamson Switzer, age 78, formerly of Henderson, went home to be with our Lord on Tuesday, August 23, 2016, after an extended illness.Born in Vance County on August 21, 1938 she was the daughter of the late Hill Thomas Williamson and Zelma Roberson Williamson.She was retired from Burlington Mills.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 3:00 PM in the chapel of J.M. White Funeral Home by Rev. Todd Stout.Burial will follow in Sunset Gardens.
She is survived by two sons, Barry Switzer ( Wanda ) of Lillington, NC and Paul Switzer of Youngsville, NC; three brothers, Henry Williamson (Mary Ann), Earl Williamson (Joan) and Don Williamson all of Henderson; a sister, Peggy Forsythe of Clarksville, TN; six grandchildren, Amanda Duffield (Gary) and Kiersten Switzer of Youngsville,NC; Shane Switzer (Kristen) of Raleigh, NC; Steven Switzer, Melissa Switzer and Thomas Switzer of Lillington, NC ; five great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends Wednesday night at J.M. White Funeral Home from 7:00 - 8:30.At other times they will be at the home of Laurie Walker, 3008 Old County Home Road, Henderson.
Serving as pallbearers will be Shane Switzer, Steven Switzer, Thomas Switzer, Scott Williamson, Dane Williamson and Chris Uzmann.
