Ruth Estella Sahm Tucker, 90, a resident of the Townsville Community, died Wednesday, August 11, 2021, in a local nursing home.
Born on October 25, 1930 in Monroe County, New York, she was the daughter of the late Roy Eugene Sahm and Estella Baird Sahm, and was the widow of Dan William Tucker.
Mrs. Tucker was retired from Eastman Kodak Company and was a member of Rock Spring Baptist Church and the Women's Sunday School Class.She was also a member of the Eastern Star.
A graveside funeral service will be held Monday at 11:00 AM at Rock Spring Baptist Church Cemetery by the Rev. Gary Brummitt.
She is survived by one daughter, Diane M. Englerth of Henderson; one son, Steven D. Tucker of Rochester, New York; three grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and close family friend, Victoria Shomada of Henderson.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Ralph Charles Sahm and Albert Roy Sahm; and a grandson, Ryan Englerth.
The family will receive friends following the service in the fellowship hall of Rock Spring Baptist Church.
