Elizabeth Ryan Stainback, age 31, a resident of Henderson died Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at Wake Medical Center.Born on June 28, 1984 in Vance County, she was the daughter of Faye Hawks Grissom and husband Al of Henderson and Gary Malone Stainback and wife Patty of Fleetwood.
Funeral services will be held Friday, April 8, 2016, at 11:00 am at Fuller Chapel United Church of Christ by the Rev. Tammy Ayscue.Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by one brother, Aaron Stainback (Kelly) of Rolesville; one step-sister, AdrieneMyers (Shannon) ofMooresville; three step-brothers, Trenton Grissom (Sherry) of Charlotte, Andy Carroll of Fleetwood, and Nathan Carroll of New Hampshire; and her step-grandmother, Dolores Jesen Grissom of Kittrell.She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Jack Lee Hawks, Sr. and Shirley Lloyd Hawks; and her paternal grandparents, Milton Edward Stainback, and Nellie Faulkner Stainback; and her step-grandfather, Herbert Millard "Big Man" Grissom, Sr.
The family will receive friends following the service in the Fellowship Hall of Fuller Chapel United Church of Christ.
Serving as active pall bearers will be David Long, Jason Holland, Daniel Owens, Shannon Myers, Scott Grissom, Rod Moss, Andy Short, and T. J. Perkinson.
