HENDERSON- Stephen Clay Faulkner, 19, of Community House Road, died Sunday, August 2, 2020.Born November 30, 2000 in Vance County, he was the son of Susan and John Patterson of Henderson and Steven Liles and Laurie Marshall of Rocky Mount.Clay was a graduate of AdVance Academy and worked at Chic-Fil-A.He attended Blessed Hope Baptist Church and South Henderson Pentecostal Holiness Church and was a member of Carolina Torros Travel Baseball Team.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 6, 2020 at 11:00 AM at South Henderson Pentecostal Holiness Church by Rev. Frank Sossamon.Burial will follow in Sunset Gardens.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his paternal grandparents, Ray and Sandra Liles of Henderson; his grandmother, Elaine Patterson of Henderson; his siblings, John Ball, Amelia Ball, Brandy Patterson, Brayden Patterson, Bradley Patterson, Cecily Heath and husband, Charles, Dustin Adcock and wife, Brandy, all of Henderson, Brittney Patterson of Andrews and David Adcock of Fayetteville; four nieces, Paisleigh Ball, McKenzie Heath, Aubrey Heath and Jordan Adcock; three aunts, Bettie Wiggins and husband Thomas, Tammy Ross, and Angel Roberson and husband, Jeremy; one uncle, Jonathan Liles and wife Skye; and four cousins, Camri Ross, Tray Macon, Jala Ross and Lisa Ross.
The family will receive friends prior to the service on Thursday from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at South Henderson Pentecostal Holiness Church and at the home, 530 Community House Road, Henderson, NC 27537.
Serving as active pallbearers will be Qwadre Hanks, Damien Faulkner, Daniel Thorpe, Jairus Boyd, Ryan Bullock, Chandler Simmons, Malik Branch, Elijah Branch, Noah Terry and Logan Lundenburg.Serving as honorary pallbearers will be members of the Carolina Torros Travel Team and the local Chic-Fil-A family.
