Sadie Saloom Wehbie, 93, of Manson, NC, formerly of Raleigh, passed away peacefully Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Kerr Lake Nursing Home where she had been under the care of a loving staff and caregivers.She was born May 18, 1924 in Enterprise, AL daughter of the late Ben and Maneera Saloom.She was also preceded in death by her husband, Christmas Mettrey Wehbie and a son, Tom Chris Wehbie.

Mrs. Wehbie was a homemaker and a seamstress.She loved to read and sew, always had a smile on her face, loved laughter, and most of all, she loved her family.She would do anything for anyone.She did not like being the center of attention, and therefore, also liked her solitude.

A graveside memorial service will be held Friday, May 18, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. in Montlawn Memorial Park where she will be interred with her son Tom Chris Wehbie.

She is survived by a daughter, Patricia Ferebee and husband Wayne of Manson, NC, formerly of Raleigh, a son, Mike Wehbie and wife Carol of Waxhaw, NC, four grandchildren, Chris, Jennifer and Karen Wehbie of Waxhaw, NC and Kayleigh Sheppard and husband Dr. Chris Sheppard of Stapleton, GA and two great grandchildren, Ashlyn and Lawson Sheppard of Stapleton, GA.
