HENDERSON-Samuel David Gupton, 57, a resident of 500 S. Cooper Drive, died Friday, November 13, 2015, at his home.Born in Vance County on May 31, 1958, he was the son of the late Vernon Robert Gupton, Jr. and Annie Wiggins Gupton.He was an auto and diesel mechanic.
Graveside services will be held Sunday, November 15, at 3:00 at Sunset Gardens by Dr. Gene Wood.
He is survived by two sons, Samuel David Gupton, Jr. of Henderson and Jeremy Gene Gupton of Clayton; two sisters, Pamela Gupton Newby of Kittrell and Patricia Gupton Adcock of Henderson; one brother, Kenneth Robert Gupton of Henderson; and three grandchildren.
The family will receive friends following the service at Sunset Gardens and at other times they will be at the home of Patricia and Willie Adcock at 3314 Old County Home Road.
