HENDERSON- Sandra Smith Forster, 61, of 2130 Ruin Creek Road, died Monday, December 3, 2018 at Maria Parham Health.Born in Vance County on August 26, 1957, she was the daughter of the late Russell Reams Smith and Dorothy Jean Brafford Smith.Mrs. Forster was retired from Vance Trucking Company where she worked as the office manager and was a member of First United Methodist Church Henderson.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2:00 PM in the chapel of J.M. White Funeral Home by Rev. Bobby Fletcher.Burial will follow in Sunset Gardens.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Forster of the home; two sons, Brett Forster of Las Vegas, NV, and Mark Forster of Clayton, WI; a sister, Leva Smith Glover of Henderson; a brother, Russell Smith, Jr. and wife, Tina, of Raleigh;a grandson, Hendrix Forster; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 PM till 8:00 PM at J.M. White Funeral Home.
Serving as pallbearers will be Kevin Granger, Kyle Glover, Jacob Glover, Clint Glover, Jerimy Norwood and Nick Smith.
