Oxford- Sandra Neal McDowell, 68, a resident of 301Harris Street in Oxford, died Thursday, April 14, 2016 at Brantwood Nursing and Rehab Center.Born on January 2, 1948 in Warren County, she was the daughter ofthe late William G. Neal and Lucille Lassiter Neal.
She was retired from Lace Lastics Co. Inc. in Oxford and was a member of New Horizons Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 2:00 PM in the chapel of J.M. White Funeral Home by Rev. Cam Ford.Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Warrenton.
She is survived by her husband, William H. McDowell of the home; two brothers William Bailey Neal of Oklahoma and Stanley Grey Neal of Henderson; and three sisters, Peggy N. McKee and Myrtle N. Felts, both of Norlina and Bonnie Sue Norwood of Alabama.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Terry Jo McDowell, and two sisters Bess N. Pitchford and Ruby Overby.
The family will receive friends Monday afternoon prior to the service from 12:30 until 2:00 at J.M. White Funeral Home. At other times they will be at the home, 301 Harris Street Oxford NC.
