KITTRELL-Sandra Kay Overton Snyder, 57, a resident of 1785 Oakridge Church Road, died Wednesday, March 04, 2020, at her home.Born on July 18, 1962 in Vance County, she was the daughter of Annie Mae Hedgepeth Overton of Kittrell and the late Lewis Edward Overton.
Sandra was a former technician at Henderson Family Dentistry and was a member of New Hope Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 8,2020 at 3 pm at New Hope Baptist Church by the Rev.
Henry Abbott.Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her children, Kayla Snyder and Christopher Overton of the home; her siblings, Jeanette Edwards (David) of Kittrell, Deborah Dickerson (Earl) of Henderson, Ann Weary (Jessie) of Henderson and Mike Overton (Elaine) of Kittrell; her grandchildren, Hayleigh Kiger, Matthew Norwood, Angel Boyd, Serenitie Strickland, and Shyanne Strickland.
The family will receive friends Sunday prior to the service from 2 until 3 pm at New Hope Baptist Church.At other times they will be at the home of Ann and Jessie Weary, 3769 Old County Home Road.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Sandra’s memory to J. M. White Funeral Home, 60 Zeb Robinson Road, Henderson, NC27536 to help with funeral expenses.
