HENDERSON-Scott Randal Pendergrass, 49, a resident of Henderson, died Friday, April 2, 2021.Born on May 26, 1971 in Vance County, he was the son of the late Horace Vernon Pendergrass, Sr. and Hila Brown Pendergrass.He was a carpenter in the construction industry.
Graveside funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 pm in the Fuller Chapel Christian Church Cemetery by the Rev. Tammy Ayscue.
He is survived by one sister, Vera P. Jones of Henderson; three brothers, H. Vernon Pendergrass, Jr. and David Pendergrass of Henderson and Sidney "Bony" Pendergrass of Hoboken, GA.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald Greg Pendergrass and Robert Pendergrass.
The family will receive friends prior to the service on Wednesday from 1:00 until 1:50 pm in the Fellowship Hall at Fuller Chapel Christian Church.At other times they will be at the home of Vera and Mike Jones, 548 Rock Mill Road and Vernon Pendergrass, 2900 N. Lynnbank Road.
